AI chatbot for your website

An assistant that answers, qualifies and books while you work.

What does an AI chatbot do on a service business website?

The Genjo chatbot is a conversational assistant that lives on your website and attends to whoever arrives looking for information. It answers the questions that come up most often (what services you offer, indicative prices, whether there is financing, how long the process takes), collects the details of anyone showing real interest and handles booking a first appointment without anyone on the team stepping in. It does not replace whoever answers: it takes on the conversations your team cannot attend because they are with a client, on the phone, or because the business is closed. Everything that happens in the chat is logged, so the next day you find contacts in order instead of an inbox full of loose messages.

The real problem: the hours when you are closed

A good share of searches happen outside opening hours. Someone with an urgent problem on a Sunday night, or someone comparing quotes at eleven, does not wait for Monday: they open three or four sites and write to the first one that replies. If your site only offers a contact form, that person leaves their details and waits. And while they wait, they keep looking. A chatbot changes that dynamic because it turns a twelve-hour wait into an immediate reply. Not because it answers better than your team, but because it answers when your team is not there. Whether you win or lose that client is almost never about the quality of the reply: it is about how long it takes to arrive.

An artificial intelligence assistant, not a button tree

Classic chatbots work with menus: press 1 for appointments, press 2 for prices. The moment someone writes something unplanned, they stall. An artificial intelligence assistant understands what people write even with typos, in Catalan, half-finished or mixed, and reads the intent instead of hunting for a keyword. We work from your real information: your services, your hours, the way you explain things. The assistant does not improvise about what it does not know, and that is deliberate: a system that invents an answer does more damage than one that admits the limit and passes the contact to a person.

Integration with your calendar and management software

The chatbot is not a form in disguise. When it connects to your booking system, it checks real availability and confirms the appointment in a slot that exists, not an invented one someone has to move later. Each conversation is logged with the name, the reason for the enquiry, the service asked about and the booking status. That integration depends on your software allowing technical access from outside, and it is worth being blunt: not every program on the market allows it, and some only with specific licences. It is the first thing we check before proposing anything. If your software does not allow it, the chatbot still works and leaves the request ready to confirm in one click, but it will not book on its own.

Automatic qualification of enquiries

Not all enquiries are worth the same. Someone asking about the cheapest service and someone asking about the full project are at very different distances from becoming a client, and deserve different response times. During the conversation the assistant asks qualifying questions naturally: what they need, whether it is their first time, whether it is urgent, whether they already have a quote elsewhere. With that it classifies each contact and the team gets the ones closest to closing first. In a small business this is usually what shows most, because the bottleneck is almost never a lack of enquiries: it is that nobody has time to look at them all and the good ones get lost among the ones going nowhere.

What development and rollout look like

Developing a chatbot is not installing a generic widget. We start by gathering what the assistant needs to know: services, indicative prices you are willing to share, hours, location, payment methods, which questions you get most and how you answer them yourselves. With that we build and test the most common conversations before it talks to anyone. Then we check which management software you use and whether it allows calendar integration. Rollout is a snippet of code on the site, without touching the design. And the first few weeks are the important ones: real conversations get reviewed, whatever the assistant could not answer gets fixed and the tone gets adjusted. A chatbot is not finished the day it is installed, it is finished once it has spent a month talking to real people.

What a chatbot does not do

It is worth being honest about the limits, because this industry is full of promises that do not hold. A chatbot does not make decisions that require professional judgement: it can point someone toward the right kind of appointment, but it does not replace your assessment. It does not replace whoever answers, and anyone who lets a person go thinking this covers it is in for a bad surprise. Nor does it fix an acquisition problem at the root: if nobody reaches your site, an assistant that perfectly attends to zero visitors still delivers zero clients. And it does not convince someone who does not want to hire. What it does do is stop you losing the enquiries that were already interested and today fall through because a reply came late, or never came.

Frequently asked questions about the chatbot

Can the chatbot book real appointments?+

Yes, if it integrates with your booking system. In that case it checks real availability and confirms the appointment directly in the free slot. Integration requires your calendar to allow technical access from outside. If it does not, the chatbot collects the request with all the details and leaves it ready to confirm.

Does it integrate with the management software I use?+

It depends on the program. Those offering API access integrate without trouble; others only with certain licences, and some do not allow it at all. It is the first thing we check, before proposing anything and at no cost. If your software does not allow integration we tell you in the first conversation, not after signing.

How much does an AI chatbot cost?+

We do not publish a fixed price because the real cost depends on whether the calendar needs integrating, how many services the assistant has to know and whether it connects to a CRM. We give a specific figure after the initial diagnosis, which is free and commits you to nothing. Be wary of anyone quoting a price before knowing which software you use.

How long does it take to build and roll out?+

Development and rollout usually take a few weeks, and the biggest factor is calendar integration: without it the timeline is short, with it it depends on your software. On top of that there is a tuning period with real conversations, because the first weeks are what fix whatever the assistant could not answer.

Is it GDPR compliant?+

The assistant is configured to ask only for what is strictly needed to book, not to collect sensitive information over chat. Like any provider processing data on your behalf, a data processing agreement is signed. If your business handles special category data, such as health data, the design accounts for that and we review it with your data protection adviser before going live.

Does it replace whoever answers?+

No, and you should not think of it that way. It covers what your team cannot: nights, weekends and the moments when they are already with someone else. In practice it takes the repeated questions off their plate so they have time to look after whoever is in front of them.

What if someone writes with an urgent problem?+

The assistant detects urgency signals and changes behaviour: it stops trying to book as it would in a normal case and immediately routes to whatever channel you have defined, whether a direct phone line, an alert to the team or your own protocol for it.

Does it only speak English?+

The chatbot can be configured to reply in Spanish, Catalan or English, or to detect the language automatically. Useful for businesses in tourist areas or with international clients.

What if it gets a question it cannot answer?+

The system detects when a conversation is beyond its scope and routes it to the human team, by email, WhatsApp or phone. The chatbot does not invent answers: if it does not know, it admits the limit and passes the contact on.

How is it installed on my website?+

Installation is a snippet of code added to your site. It works with any CMS (WordPress, Webflow, custom sites) without changing the design or the page structure.
